Yep. It’s Steak and Blowjob Day!
Now, we’ve all lived with the internet for some time, so Steak and Blowjob Day might not be an entirely foreign holiday, but you may be unfamiliar with the roots of this sacred occasion. I know I was, so I turned to Wikipedia to get the low-down on how Steaks and Blowjobs came to be celebrated.
…the holiday was devised by radio DJ Tom Birdsey in 2002, during a show on WFNX radio station in Boston, Massachusetts. One of the various websites competing to be the ‘official’ page of the day stated “March 14th henceforth became ‘Steak and Blowjob Day.’ Simple, effective and self explanatory. No cards, no flowers, no special nights on the town; the name explains it all: just a steak and a BJ. That’s it.”
Sort of an anti-Valentine’s Day, if you will.
While it may not be about flowers and candy, it’s obvious that, at its root, Steak and Blowjob Day is about love and lovin’ the one you’re with. It’s also an opportunity to create some awesome content for your fanbase to enjoy. Even if that just means cooking a steak that they don’t get to eat…hey, your rules.
