New Years Resolutions 2022

It was a long road, but we made it to 2022! If you haven’t made your resolutions yet, not to worry–we’ve got a list of seven resolutions that will help guide your year and bring you health, happiness, and success. This year, we’re putting the focus on positivity with no room for negative vibes! Keep reading to find out how you can fuel your body, soothe your stress, and feed your soul!

🧖🏼‍♀️ I Resolve to Care About Me

So many people spend all their time pleasing others and never get around to worrying about themselves. STOP THE CYCLE! Self-care is not selfish, it’s necessary, and it should be practiced every day. Normalize me time, breathing room, and the right to say no. If you’re not taking care of you, you won’t be at your best…not for yourself or anyone else. If you’re stressed, take the time to breathe. Treat yourself every day, even if that only means a warm bath or an extra-large latte. Once you know how to make yourself feel good, you will have a much easier time sharing your gifts with others.

🗃️I Resolve to Get Organized

It’s hard to thrive in chaos! Start with a clean slate and make a plan for how you’re going to tackle the year. If you’ve got goals, write them down! Putting things in writing is a great way to visualize success and clearly see what needs to be done to reach it. Once your goals are in order, you can make a game plan. What goals can you reach in the short-term to help you out with your bigger obstacles? For many content-creators it can be difficult to plan and create content ahead of time, but this is one of the BEST ways to ensure a successful business! If you haven’t already checked it out, CentroU is THE place for valuable advice on everything from shooting schedules to conversion, and the fact that it’s free is even better! Not only that, our team of success coaches is always ready to help you sell more than ever! Organization is like a balm for the brain–once you’ve got your goals in order, reaching them will be so much easier.

🧏‍♀️ I Resolve to Listen to My Body

Our bodies send a lot of messages, but we don’t always take the time to listen. If you’re dealing with too much stress, your body is feeling it too. A wellness check is essential for making sure you’re not trying to keep too many balls in the air at once. Yearly physicals are the best way to keep your body in check and stay on top of your health.

🧑‍🤝‍🧑 I Resolve to Feed My Relationships

Relationships are a lot like plants–if you don’t water them every once in a while, they’re going to wither and die. This year, remember that support works both ways. If you’ve been slacking on communication or haven’t taken the time to check in on your friends and loved ones, it’s time to make a change. Cherish the people who cherish you, listen so you’ll be heard, and support your friends and family…it’s the best way to guarantee they’ll be there to support you.

🙅‍♀️ I Resolve to Remove Toxicity From My Life

Toxic people, toxic behaviors, and toxic thoughts are as helpful as an anchor when you’re drowning. You don’t need the negative energy. If someone in your life is constantly bringing you down, consider cutting them free. This is a difficult resolution, because so many people feel obligated to stay in relationships that make them unhappy. The truth is, old friends, professional connections, or even your grandma can be toxic. And you should NOT tolerate behavior that is harmful to you. Whether it’s a friend or family member, you have every right to protect yourself from unhealthy relationships. The same goes for your obligations. If you’re doing something that doesn’t bring you joy, ask yourself, “Do I really need this in my life?” Don’t feel obligated to simmer in negativity just because you feel like it’s what you’re ‘supposed’ to do. Examine your life and the people around you and decide what truly brings you joy.

🧠 I Resolve to Feed My Body and My Soul

Eating healthy food isn’t just self-care–it’s a necessary step to maintain a healthy body. Bodies come in all shapes and sizes, and they all need the right nutrition to operate. If you’re skipping meals, saying no to veggies, and keeping your body from moving around, it’s going to affect your mind as well as your health. Find a happy medium that will allow you to enjoy what you love, while still getting the things that you need. Have a balanced meal to feed your body, and a warm chocolate chip cookie with a glass of milk to feed your soul!

💖 I Resolve to Feel My Emotions

People are very good at hiding things that hurt. And you may feel like doing that makes you a stronger person. Bad news…it doesn’t. Shutting down emotionally is like putting rocks in a bucket…you may be able to carry them for a while, but before long they’re going to be too heavy to hold. When you allow yourself to feel pain and respond to it, it will no longer weigh you down. Feel what you need to feel. If you’re sad and you want to cry, cry! If you’re so angry you could scream…scream! Experiencing negative emotions is the absolute best way to deal with them. Allow yourself to let things out instead of keeping pain bottled inside.

Changes can be hard to make, but they’re both necessary and healthy. Remember, you can’t welcome new things into your life if you’re clinging to something that’s weighing you down. Start your new year off on the right foot by wiping out negative energy and putting your own health and wellness first. When you feel good, you’ll spread light, positivity, and attract incredible things!
